I will admit, there sure seems to be a lot of problems with certain companies online holding up there end of the bargain when you order your acai berry diet pills from them. 6 Mistakes People Make Losing Weight

Its so surprising that a woman and a man can pick up a lot of weight when the age factor starts to creep up. This situation can happen for all sorts of reasons but I’m writing this article to let you know while we’re trying to lose weight you can make mistakes in your efforts to succeed.

These mistakes often prevent all of us from being successful in our weight loss programs. If you can avoid these, you’ll greatly increase your chances of success at weight loss. We’re going to go over the 6 mistakes that can happen if you’re not aware of them:

- Not taking the time to plan and prepare your meals and snacks, and your exercise time. This is a critical mistake and one that the vast majority of people do make.

- Not exercising everyday. Do some type of aerobic exercise walking, jogging, swimming, stationary cycling, aerobic dancing, etc. on a DAILY basis preferably in the morning for 30 to 60 minutes!

- Not weight training consistently. Tone your muscles with weight training three days per week. Toned muscles look great and they *supercharge* your metabolism causing you to burn more calories 24 hours a day! This should be done just after your aerobic exercise session so that your muscles are warm and ready and less prone to injury.

- Expecting the scale to drop quickly, and thus becoming discouraged when it doesn’t. You have to commit to consistently doing the right things and it will happen. So many people give-up in frustration after just a few weeks, when they may have been on the brink of seeing some real progress. Progress is very motivating - don’t quit!

- Believing that they should exercise in the “fat-burning zone.” You’ve probably heard it, “you have to exercise at a lower intensity to burn more fat.. to get in the fat-burning zone.” guess what, it’s a myth! Here’s how it got started. Your body is always “burning” a mixture of carbohydrates and fat for fuel. This mixture tends to contain a little more fat during lower intensity exercise. Somebody took this to mean that a lower intensity workout was best for losing weight.. not so! It all comes from the same “pot”. It doesn’t matter if you’re burning a little more fat or a little more carbohydrate at any particular time in your fuel mix. It all comes from the same calorie pool. The bottom line is, how many calories are you burning.

- Moderate intensity exercise actually burns more calories in a given time period. For example, you may burn 200 calories during a 30 minute low intensity exercise session and 300 calories during a 30 minute moderate intensity exercise session. Bottom line.. burning more calories is better for weight loss. Moderate intensity exercise increases your basal metabolic rate (BMR) more than lower intensity exercise. This means that you’ll burn more calories 24 hours-a-day. This can really elevate your mood and is great for people who are stressed out. Now, if you can avoid these six mistakes and you’ll be on your way to weight loss and fitness greatness!

Losing weight is one of the priorities you have to engage in life, simply because being overweight not only makes you look bad in the eyes of others, but also exposes you to a host of killer diseases such as diabetes, heart attack, etc. More and more people are getting concerned about their fat tummy and the very fact that every year millions of people take New Year’s resolution to lose weight is an indicator of this. Despite all these resolutions, people don’t seem to be getting any thinner! In this article I will tell you how to lose weight effortlessly!

When it comes to weight loss, goal setting is all things. If you have set unrealistic goals for yourself, then no matter how much you try, you won’t be able to lose a single pound! On the other hand, if you have set realistic goals for yourself, then you will lose weight no matter how much overweight you are! With proper goals, even unhealthy obese people lose weight fast! As you have perhaps already guessed, this article is all about how to set proper, realistic weight loss goals for yourself and achieve fast weight loss!

1. Be down-to-earth in your goals: Let’s say that you are set to lose 150 pounds. You set a short term goal of losing 75 pounds within a few weeks. Such goals are quite unrealistic and hence unachievable. Setting such goals will spell the death of your weight loss efforts! The first step is to set goals and make plans that look to be sensible and achievable to your subconscious mind!

2. Why you want to lose weight: How you want to lose weight is as important as the “why” part! What is the overriding factor behind your determination to shed pounds? Is it just to look good, or rather to improve your health? It takes a lot of motivation to keep up with strict diet plans and rigorous exercise regimens, and unless you have a strong motive for weight loss, you will stray sometime or other! Usually, losing weight for health’s sake seems to be more motivating than doing it for vanity’s sake!

3. Weight loss cannot be realized using fads: Get this in your mind: no matter how many fad diets and diet pills you use, real weight loss will take place only when you discard away the junk foods from the kitchen and refrigerator and focus on eating raw fruits and vegetables instead. No matter what others tell you, if you are resolved about weight loss then you cannot keep eating junk foods and expect to shed pounds. You also need to exercise regularly for hours. Are you prepared for all that? That is something you need to ask yourself before you think about weight loss!

4. Don’t penalize yourself: We are after all humans and sometime or other we are sure to stray. Let’s say that you manage to lose weight successfully for the first three weeks but on the fourth week, you fail to lose as much weight! Don’t blame yourself for that. Sure, you might have made a mistake but there is no reason to bang your head against the wall just because of it! Find out why you failed to lose weight this week: have you been neglectful in your exercise routine, or did you eat junk foods on one of those days? Find out the reason behind weight gain, and then from next week, try your best to follow to your weight loss plan!
